© The Biidaaban Healing Lodge 2011 As outlined in the Corporation’s General Operating By-laws interested individuals must fit the following criteria: (a)  The person must be over the age of eighteen (18); (b)   The person must not have been found under the Substitute Decisions Act, 1992 or under the Mental Health Act to be incapable of managing property or been found to be incapable by a court in Canada or elsewhere; (c) The person must possess an awareness of healing and wellness, and knowledge  and skills in a combination of the following:  prior board experience, a  demonstrated interest in similar organizations, experience with program review,  development and implementation, experience negotiating with government  and/or organizations, skill in policy development, demonstrated experience in  advocacy on behalf of First Nation people and the ability to network with other  organizations as needed and required by the Corporation; (d) The person must be recognised as a proficient contributor through the submission of up to three letters of reference from credible organizations and a recent resume outlining qualifications. This is for a two (2) year term.
